The Maldives Police Service has confirmed that the 18-year-old woman reported missing from Malé has been found safe.

According to police, the woman was reported missing by her family at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, after she left home on the night of June 16 and did not return.

Police stated that she was located safely during a search operation conducted last night. 

However, no further details have been disclosed regarding her disappearance.
