President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has sent official greetings to the leadership of Viet Nam, marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

In separate messages to State President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, President Dr Muizzu described the milestone as a testament to the enduring friendship and mutual respect shared between the two nations. He expressed confidence in further strengthening ties, particularly in economic cooperation and cultural exchange.

The President reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to deepening bilateral collaboration and conveyed his best wishes for continued progress in the partnership. He concluded by wishing good health and success to the Vietnamese leadership, and prosperity to the people of Viet Nam.
