President Dr Mohamed Muizzu attended the Maldives–Singapore Business Forum, held as part of his ongoing state visit to Singapore.

Senior Government ministers and leading business figures from both nations also took part in the event.

At the forum, President Dr Muizzu presented Vision 2040, the Maldives’ national roadmap to achieve developed country status within 15 years and called on international investors to support the country’s economic transformation.

The forum also featured a high-level panel discussion titled “From Foundation to Future: Exploring Investment Partnerships,” which examined strategies for attracting sustainable investments aligned with national development priorities.

On the sidelines, participants reflected on the evolution of Maldives–Singapore economic ties over the past five decades, marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
