Fenaka Corporation has been ordered by the Civil Court to pay Refcool Maldives Private Limited a sum of MVR 722,812.92 for goods and services provided under a contractual agreement between the two parties.

The judgement follows a lawsuit filed by Refcool, requesting the court to compel Fenaka to settle the outstanding amount within three months.

In response, Fenaka acknowledged its debt and expressed willingness to pay the stated amount within the requested timeframe.

As the corporation did not contest the claim, Civil Court Judge Sinan Ali ruled in favour of Refcool, issuing a formal order for Fenaka to complete the payment within three months.

This marks another financial judgement against the state-owned utility provider, which has faced several such rulings in recent months.
