Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art Ibrahim Waheed participated in the opening panel of the OIC Youth Capital forum held in Marrakech, Morocco. 

Centered on the theme “Youth After the COVID-19 Pandemic: Priorities and Expectations,” the discussion provided a platform for sharing national experiences and strategies.

During the panel, Minister Waheed outlined the Maldives’ united efforts in tackling the pandemic, emphasising the country’s collaborative approach to overcoming health and socio-economic challenges. He also noted the importance of youth empowerment in post-pandemic recovery.

Ahead of the discussion, the Minister met with the Secretary General of Morocco’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and senior officials from the OIC Youth Capital delegation to strengthen bilateral ties and explore opportunities for future cooperation.
