Fenaka Corporation has been awarded a contract to connect water and sewerage services to 100 housing units built in Thaa Vilifushi.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at the Ministry, with State Minister Ali Faris Yoosuf representing the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, and Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Arif signing on behalf of Fenaka Corporation.

The Ministry of Tourism and Environment confirmed that the project will be carried out under an MVR 13.8 million contract, with a target completion period of eight months.

The 100 housing units were originally awarded to Noomadi Resorts and Residences Private Limited in 2011. However, after delays stalled the project, the construction contract was reassigned to Amin Construction Private Limited. That company has now completed the housing units, leaving only the utility connections pending.
