The Ministry of Finance and Planning has invited interested parties to undertake the repair and upgrade project of Gaafu Dhaalu Rathafandhoo Harbour.

Upgrading Rathafandhoo Harbour is a key pledge of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu. In line with this commitment, the Ministry of Finance and Planning has now opened the bidding process for the project.

The Ministry has announced that interested parties can undertake the project on a design-and-build basis. All related documents are available on the Ministry of Finance website.

Bids for the project must be submitted through the bid portal by 1:00 pm on the 23rd of this month. The bids will be opened on the 24th at 10:00 am.

The project will involve constructing 221 meters of outer embankment, installing navigation lights, building 21 meters of revetment, constructing a 312.7-meter jetty, and carrying out sand leveling.
