The Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare has conducted a training programme on greenhouse agriculture in Shaviyani Narudhoo. 

The training programme was conducted as part of the Maldives Agribusiness Programme (MAP)’s efforts to strengthen human capacity and promote agricultural development in local communities.

During the training programme held in Narudhoo, participants received both theoretical and practical training focused on pepper cultivation and greenhouse growing techniques.

As part of its ongoing efforts, the Maldives Agribusiness Programme has been introducing innovative practices to the agricultural sector and equipping local farmers with the knowledge and skills to use modern farming equipment effectively. 

Training programmes are being conducted across the country to familiarise Maldivian farmers with modern farming methods and technologies.
