The 13th edition of the Maldives Living Expo opened today at Central Park, Hulhumale’, bringing together more than 30 exhibitors.

The four-day event will run from 14 to 17 August, with visiting hours from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Dr Ali Haidar Ahmed, and (Retired) Ali Zuhair, Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation Brigadier General (Retd) Ahmed Shiyam, Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources.

The opening ceremony commenced with welcome remarks from the event’s main sponsor, VCL Group, delivered by its Head of Sales and Marketing, Abhijeet Jakka. Proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks from the organiser, Highrise Pet Ltd. Speaking on behalf of the company, Sales and Marketing Manager for Events, Mohamed Hassaan, said reaching the 13th edition of the expo was an achievement made possible through the support of sponsors and partners.

This year’s edition showcases a wide range of attractions, from innovative home design concepts and stylish furnishings to banking and financing solutions, along with other lifestyle products. Organisers described the expo as a platform for visitors to connect, share ideas, and gather inspiration for contemporary living in the Maldives.

The event is organised by High Rise Private Limited and sponsored by Blue Lagoon by VCL. Co-sponsors include Brain Coral, TATA Housing, and Maldives Islamic Bank, with Allied Takaful serving as the Takaful partner.
