Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has introduced The Events Calendar, a new online platform that brings together details of events taking place across the Maldives.

According to VMC, the platform will act as a central hub for information on festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, and other activities held nationwide. It also provides a channel for resorts, islands, and other stakeholders to promote their events to both local and international audiences.

The calendar lists events scheduled throughout the year, including cultural celebrations, sports competitions, wellness programmes, and culinary activities. Users can also filter for free events and access booking options directly through the platform.

The platform is the first of its kind to showcase events happening nationwide.
