Two key infrastructure projects have been launched in Laamu Mundoo, with the groundbreaking of a new police station and the introduction of Bank of Maldives (BML) ATM services. The events took place during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to the island as part of his tour of Laamu Atoll. The police station project, contracted to Fenaka Corporation, was inaugurated by Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan, with senior officials including Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen in attendance.The new BML ATM will provide round-the-clock access to banking services, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, contributing to improved accessibility for island residents.
