Maldives’ Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdulla Khaleel, has concluded his official visit to Brussels, Belgium, where he participated in the 4th European Union Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum held from 20–21 November 2025.

During the Forum, Minister Dr Khaleel engaged with senior officials from several partner countries, discussing ways to strengthen diplomatic relations and deepen cooperation on key regional and global issues. He also represented the Maldives at a series of high-level side events held alongside the Ministerial Forum.

As part of his visit, MinisterDr Khaleel toured the Embassy of the Maldives in Belgium, where he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining strong ties with Maldivian citizens living abroad and ensuring the continued provision of quality consular services.

Foreign Minister Dr Khaleel was accompanied by Secretary for Multilateral Affairs, Ahmed Shiaan, and Political Director, Fathimath Nasha Ismail.
