Aminiya School has urged parents to stay vigilant after reports surfaced of fraudulent scam messages being sent in the school’s name.

Parents have received messages containing a link claiming to be for payments related to Maldives Post. The school stated that it does not send such links.

Fraudulent calls and text messages impersonating companies, institutions, and individuals have been increasing, with many victims suffering significant financial losses. Police are repeatedly advising the public to avoid opening suspicious links and to report such messages immediately to the Anti-Scam Centre.

The Anti-Scam Centre continues to raise awareness on how to protect against scams.
