Dhiraagu has been officially recognised as a Great Place to Work, highlighting its commitment to employee experience, professional development, and an inclusive workplace culture.

The certification is awarded to organisations that meet globally recognised benchmarks for employee experience. It is based on the Trust Index Survey, which measures factors such as trust, fairness, respect, pride, and the consistency of employee experience across the organisation. 

Dhiraagu is one of only a few companies in the Maldives, and among a small number of telecommunications firms in Asia, to achieve this recognition this year.

The company celebrated the certification at an event held at its headquarters in Malé on 19 November 2025. 

Dhiraagu employs a predominantly local workforce, with 99.9 per cent of its staff being Maldivian. The company runs a wide range of programmes to support its employees, including professional development initiatives, leadership training, engagement activities, mental well-being support, and efforts to maintain work-life balance.

According to Dhiraagu, the certification reflects the company’s long-term focus on creating a supportive and inclusive work environment, while also building a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly evolving telecommunications sector.
