MNACI honours top performers at Builders Awards 2025

The Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) on Thursday hosted the second edition of the MNACI Builders Awards, recognising companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to the country’s construction sector.
The awards ceremony was held at Hotel JEN in Malé and brought together industry professionals, senior figures, and stakeholders from across the construction industry. The event follows the inaugural MNACI Builders Awards held in 2023 and continues the association’s efforts to promote excellence, professionalism, and long-term service within the industry.
The programme featured an address by Chief Judge Abdulla Ziyad and included 19 award categories covering a wide range of disciplines, from major contractors and professional firms to specialised service providers and individual contributors.
Among the award recipients, Rainbow Pvt Ltd was named Contractor of the Year and Real Estate Contractor of the Year, while Alia Construction received the Resort Contractor of the Year award. UCC Holdings was recognised as Foreign Contractor of the Year. In the Professional Firm Awards category, Inside Plus won Architectural and Design Firm of the Year, Hotels and Resorts Investment Maldives (HARIM) was awarded Project Management Firm of the Year, and Leo Trading Pvt Ltd received the Logistics and Transport Firm of the Year award.
Individual honours included the Outstanding Woman Leader in Construction Award 2025, presented to Thazeen Shareef, Co-Founder and Design Director of Inside Plus, and the Lifetime Achievement Award 2025, awarded to Abdul Majeed, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bison Groups.
A special segment of the ceremony was dedicated to the MNACI President’s Special Awards, recognising long-standing service within the construction industry. Platinum Awards for more than 20 years of service were presented to Alau Ali, Adnan Haleem, Ibrahim Muthalib, and Saudulla Hilmy. Mohamed Saeed received the Gold Award for over 15 years of service, while Hassan Habeeb, Ameen Mohamed, and Abdulla Salih were honoured with Silver Awards for over 10 years of service.
The MNACI Builders Awards 2025 were supported by Hotels and Resorts Investments as the exclusive platinum sponsor, Ooredoo Business as the official digital partner, and Print Lab Creative as the gold partner. MNACI stated that the awards form part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening industry standards and supporting the sustainable growth of the construction sector in the Maldives.
