The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has established a CCTV Monitoring Command Centre to strengthen security in Hulhumalé Phase II.

In a statement, HDC said the command centre will be located at Vinares Tower 9 and will serve as a central hub to monitor activities across Hulhumalé Phase II. The initiative is part of HDC’s ongoing efforts to enhance safety and security in the area.

HDC described the centre as an important addition to its security framework, noting that it will allow continuous monitoring of public spaces.

The corporation also recently introduced its Estate Security Service, which operates around the clock. The security team is tasked with maintaining safety throughout Hulhumalé Phase II and protecting both public property and private residents.

The CCTV Monitoring Command Centre will be managed by estate security personnel and is expected to play a key role in improving overall security and ensuring a safer living environment for residents.
