Maldivian Non-Resident Ambassador presents credentials to Russian President

The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of the Maldives to the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef, has presented his Letters of Credence to Russian President Vladimir Putin at a ceremony held on Thursday at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Abdul Raheem conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Dr Mohamed Muizzu to President Putin, as well as to the government and people of the Russian Federation.

Ambassador Abdul Raheem currently serves as the Ambassador of the of Maldives to Türkiye and will concurrently serve as Non-Resident Ambassador to the Russian Federation, with residence in Ankara.
