Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced a promotion offering eligible customers the chance to win an experience to attend the final match of the FIFA World Cup 26, in partnership with Visa.

The promotion is open exclusively to BML Visa cardholders and will run from 18 January to 15 April 2026. Customers are required to register for the promotion through the opt-in feature on the Bank’s mobile banking application.

To qualify, customers must spend a minimum of MVR 15,000 per month using BML personal Visa credit or debit cards at BML POS machines, via Static QR payments, or through the BML Payment Gateway during the promotion period. Additional entries can be earned for every additional MVR 15,000 spent beyond the monthly minimum, allowing participants to accumulate multiple entries.

At the conclusion of the promotion, one winner will be selected to receive two fully paid tickets to attend the final match of the FIFA World Cup 26, including travel for a companion, supported by Visa.

BML currently offers a range of Visa-branded cards, including Visa Classic, Gold, Platinum and the recently introduced Visa Infinite credit card, as well as Visa Debit Classic and Debit Platinum cards.

The FIFA World Cup 26 will be the 23rd edition of the tournament and will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. It will be the first World Cup to feature an expanded format with 48 national teams. The final match of the tournament is scheduled to be held in New Jersey, USA.
