Former chief commissioner of the Scout Association of Maldives, Mohamed Khalid, has passed away.

Khalid passed away early Tuesday morning at the age of 65. Officials from the Scout Association of Maldives expressed their condolences following his passing.

Khalid made significant contributions to the scouting movement in the Maldives, serving both as chief commissioner and as a scout leader.
