The Hulhumalé Phase III Land Reclamation Project has reached 98 per cent completion, with 62 hectares of land successfully reclaimed, according to an update from Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL). On-site works are being carried out by the dredgers Prins der Nederlanden and Oranje, each with a capacity of 22,000 cubic metres, supporting steady progress toward completion.

The project involves reclaiming a total of 63 hectares to facilitate future urban expansion and development in the Greater Malé Region, with works now entering the final phase.
