The People’s National Congress has conducted door-to-door campaign activities in the Mahchangolhi South constituency ahead of the upcoming local council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.

The campaign was joined by PNC’s mayoral candidate for Malé City, Major General (Rtd) Moosa Ali Jaleel, and the party’s candidate for President of the WDC in Malé City, Uz Ashiyath Alaika Adhnan. The two candidates engaged directly with residents during the door-to-door outreach.

They were accompanied by Mahchangolhi South Constituency Member of Parliament Musthafa Hussain, along with other PNC candidates contesting council and WDC seats in the constituency.

Similar campaign activities are being carried out across the Malé area and in the atolls by PNC, with several party leaders visiting islands and cities nationwide to participate in outreach efforts.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has previously called on voters to elect councillors and WDC members who will work in cooperation with the Government, stressing that such collaboration is key to ensuring development projects in Malé and the atolls are implemented without delay.
