President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has arrived in Malé Atoll Gaafaru on Monday.

The President was greeted by the residents of the island, Parliament members as well as members of the Gaafaru council and the Women’s Development Committee.

The visit to Gaafaru is part of President Dr Muizzu’s ongoing tour of islands in AA Atoll and Malé Atoll. The President is also scheduled to visit Himmafushi and Huraa on Monday.

On Sunday, President Muizzu visited Thoddoo, Rasdhoo, and Mathiveri in AA Atoll, where he met with residents to discuss their concerns and priorities. This tour is part of his commitment to visit all islands at least twice during his tenure.
