BML launches self-service banking ATM in Thilafushi

Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched a new self-service banking ATM in Kaafu Thilafushi, improving access to banking services in key economic zones. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed, along with BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef and senior bank officials. BML stated that the expansion supports businesses and individuals operating in Thilafushi by providing convenient, reliable access to banking facilities.

The bank announced that it will continue expanding its network throughout the year, including the installation of over 70 USD ATMs nationwide to enhance access to foreign currency. BML currently operates 42 branches across all 20 atolls, 267 ATMs, and self-service banking centres on every inhabited island, alongside its digital banking platforms.
