More than 53,000 cases of canned tuna have been distributed in the Greater Malé area as part of the Government’s Roadha Hadhiyaa programme, the Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works has announced.

The Ministry stated that distribution through designated centres in the Malé region was completed last night. As of yesterday evening, a total of 53,308 cases had been distributed to households in Malé, Vilimalé and Hulhumalé.

Although distribution at the centres has now concluded, arrangements have been made for those who have not yet collected the cases. The Ministry said canned tuna cases will continue to be available for collection at the MIFCO outlet in Malé between 8:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. until the first day of Ramadan.
