President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will exchange Eid al-Fitr greetings with members of the public tomorrow.

The reception will be held at the President’s Official Residence, Mulee’aage, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on 20 March. The invitation has been extended to the general public, including dignitaries, foreign representatives, corporate leaders and members of non-governmental organisations.

The President and First Lady have also expressed a particular wish to welcome families, encouraging children and young people to take part in the festive occasion.

Arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the event, with visitors requested to enter through the main gate of Mulee’aage on Medhuziyaaraiy Magu, accessible via Shaheed Abdulla Zuhair Hin’gun.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has declared today as the 30th day of Ramadan, confirming that the first day of Shawwal will be observed tomorrow.
