First Lady and Chief Guide Sajidha Mohamed took part in the Maldives Girl Guides Association’s Eid project on Saturday.

The initiative, held annually on the second day of Eid al-Fitr since 2000, is aimed at sharing the festive spirit with residents of the Home for People with Special Needs (HPSN) in Kaafu Guraidhoo.

During the visit, the First Lady spent time with residents, presented gifts, and engaged in conversations about their well-being.

Now in its 27th consecutive year, the Eid Project remains a key initiative of the Maldives Girl Guides Association in promoting inclusivity and compassion.

The association stated that the project aims to create a meaningful and inclusive Eid experience by engaging with individuals at the centre and celebrating together.
