The People’s National Congress (PNC) has announced that it will hold a major rally on Wednesday night as campaigning intensifies ahead of the April 4 elections.

The announcement was made by Ibrahim Falah, Parliamentary Group Leader of the PNC and campaign manager for the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.

Falah said the rally will be held at the party’s official headquarters, Henveiru Veyovilla, starting at 8:45 p.m., and called on supporters to attend in large numbers.

The rally comes as political activities ramp up nationwide in the lead-up to the Local Council and WDC elections scheduled for April 4.

The PNC has fielded the highest number of candidates for the elections and is currently conducting an active nationwide campaign.
