Mohamed Afeef Hussain has been appointed Managing Director and a member of the Board of Directors of Fenaka Corporation Limited by the Privatization and Corporatization Board.

Afeef holds a Master’s degree in Shariah and a Board Executive Certificate in Directorship from Singapore Management University. He also holds a diploma in Business Administration and Business Management, along with professional qualifications in Balanced Scorecard and Risk Management, and training in administration, leadership and institutional management.

With over 40 years of public service, Afeef has extensive experience in infrastructure development, public utilities and governance. He previously served as Chairman of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company, and has also held chairmanship roles at STELCO and Fenaka, in addition to serving on the boards of several state-owned companies.

He has held senior Government roles including Director General positions in public works, housing and corporate sectors, contributing to major infrastructure projects and institutional development.
