The Maldives Police Service has reported a technical issue affecting its emergency communication lines, including the 911 hotline and contact numbers 3322111 and 3322112.

In a statement, Police advised the public to use the alternative number 9888999 for any urgent assistance while the issue is being addressed.

Police said efforts are underway to resolve the technical problem as soon as possible and restore normal service to the affected lines.
