Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for Bank Fund 2026, its annual grant programme supporting community projects carried out by registered NGOs across the Maldives.

Under this year’s programme, five projects will each receive grants of MVR 200,000. The funding will focus on projects related to education, environment, sports and community development.

Applications are open to registered NGOs and clubs in the Maldives. Completed application forms and project proposals must be submitted via email before 2:00 p.m. on 14 June 2026.

The programme is now being held for a third consecutive year.

Among the projects funded under the programme is a vocational training lab and digital studio established by Foundation of Eydhafushi Youth Linkage (FEYLI) at Baa Atoll Education Centre.

Since the launch of the Bank Fund initiative, nine NGOs have received support for projects aimed at addressing community needs across the country.
