The Malé Taxi Line initially operated free of charge before transitioning to a paid service on 18 April. Bookings and payments can be made through the MTCC web app or by calling the hotline on 1655. Fares are set in accordance with prices fixed by the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade.
The service currently operates a fleet of 150 vehicles across three categories.
