Visitors to the Maldives Zakat House stall at the Maldives Financial Expo 2026 will have the chance to win an Umrah trip and other prizes through an interactive quiz.

The Zakat Quiz has been launched to raise public awareness of zakat while giving visitors the opportunity to test their knowledge and win prizes.

A daily lucky draw will be held among participants, with one winner receiving a cash prize of MVR 1,000 each day. In addition, everyone who takes part in the quiz during the three-day expo will be entered into a grand lucky draw, with the winner receiving an Umrah trip.

The quiz covers the fundamentals and principles of zakat, practical aspects of zakat, and the services and projects of the Maldives Zakat House.

Visitors to the stall can also consult Islamic scholars on zakat-related matters, obtain information about Zakat House services and the recently launched Zakat Scholarship, and collect free books and leaflets on zakat.
