Sheet pile installation for Phase One of the Malé North Side Boduthakurufaanu Magu Road Project has been completed, MTCC announced, with asphalt paving scheduled to begin on 7 July as work on the project continues.

The project is being carried out by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) to upgrade Boduthakurufaanu Magu along the northern side of Malé City. With sheet piling now completed, sub-base works in Segments 4 and 5 have also been finished, and Aggregate Base Course (ABC) laying is currently underway.

MTCC said asphalt paving is scheduled to commence on 7 July.

Quay wall concrete capping works are set to enter their final stage this week, marking continued progress on the project.
