Avas Enterprise has announced a grand celebration at Hulhumale Central Park on Friday to mark the relaunch of their upgraded taxi-hailing application, Avas Ride.

The event will commence with a Family Evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring an array of children's activities, including a popular Roboman show and various food stalls offering local and international cuisine.

To add to the festivities, the company will conduct a special lucky draw where one fortunate participant will take home a Sony PlayStation 5. The highlight of the evening will be the official app launch at 8 p.m., followed by a commemorative balloon release at 9:30 p.m.

Originally launched in 2019 by an ambitious team of young Maldivian entrepreneurs, the Avas Ride platform currently boasts approximately 3,000 registered vehicles across various regions of the Maldives. The upgraded version promises to enhance user experience through cutting-edge technology.
