53 recipients awarded National Award for Public Service

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has honoured 53 distinguished recipients with the National Award for Public Service, presenting them with commemorative shields and badges as recognition for their long-term dedication and contribution to the Maldivian State.
The awards were presented at the official Republic Day ceremony held at Dharubaaruge this evening.
This prestigious award, established under the President's directive, acknowledges the exemplary commitment of individuals who have served the State for over 35 years. It celebrates their professionalism, integrity, and substantial contributions to their respective fields and institutions.
Among the honoured recipients, 11 individuals have contributed over 40 years of service to the nation, while the remaining 42 have dedicated more than 35 years to public service. The recipients were carefully selected by the National Awards Committee, which is responsible for vetting and evaluating candidates for the National Awards each year.
In his address, President Dr Muizzu extended heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to each recipient, highlighting their exceptional service and dedication. He commended their unwavering commitment to public service, emphasising the crucial role their efforts have played in shaping and strengthening the Maldivian State.
