MTCC has completed a coastal protection project in R. Kinolhas, which involved reclaiming 19,780 cubic metres of sand and building a 650-metre revetment using geo bag technology. The project, awarded in April 2023, addressed erosion issues for the island of over 500 residents. The island's harbour facilities were also upgraded in 2023 through a separate MVR 46.5 million development project by MTCC.
