The luxury resort JOALI Maldives has made its way into the highly coveted Oscars gift bag.

The 96th Academy Awards, widely known as the Oscars, took place on March 3 in Los Angeles, USA, celebrating the year's biggest achievements in the film industry.

While only a select few took home the golden statuette, all nominees in key categories received an extravagant “Everybody Wins” gift bag, valued at nearly USD 220,000.

For the 23rd consecutive year, LA-based marketing company Distinctive Assets curated this lavish gift bag, which, though not officially affiliated with the Academy Awards, has become a sought-after tradition among nominees. The 2025 edition featured more than 60 luxury items, delivered in high-end luggage from Nomatic.

Among the standout gifts was a four-night stay at JOALI Maldives, valued at over USD 23,000, offering nominees the chance to experience the stunning natural beauty of the Maldives. Other extravagant items in the bag included luxury hotel stays, deluxe skincare products, and wellness experiences.

This year’s nominees for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Director, along with Oscars host Conan O’Brien, were all eligible to receive the gift bag.

Meanwhile, at the awards ceremony, the film Anora dominated the night, winning six awards, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. Although not all nominees left with an Oscar, the exclusive gift bag ensured that they didn’t leave empty-handed.
