The second phase of the Hashiheyo Raajje leadership training programme has commenced in Male' City, targeting youth associates and sports counsellors from Kaafu, Vaavu, AA and Adh atolls.

The programme was officially launched by Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef in Kulhudhuffushi City on 4 November 2024 and is part of the Government's 14-week pledge. It aims to develop capable leaders to oversee the Hashiheyo Raajje programme across six designated zones. 

The Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation is spearheading this long-term initiative, which aims to cultivate exceptional athletes for the nation's future.
