The Maldives National Carrom team has returned after securing two bronze medals in team events at the 6th Carrom World Cup held in California, USA.

Eighteen countries participated in the 6th Carrom World Cup, where the Maldivian women’s team secured third place after defeating the host country, the United States. The men’s team also claimed third place, winning 2-1 against Singapore.

The National Carrom Team was welcomed at the Velana International Airport by Commissioner of Sports Mohamed Tholal and officials from the Ministry of Sports. The President of the Maldives Olympic Committee, Mohamed Abdul Sattar, and General Secretary, Thamooh Ahmed Saeed were also present to welcome the team.
