The pair of Zeeniya and Areesha emerged as champions of the Maldives National Beach Volleyball League, held from 18-21 November 2024 in Hulhumalé City.

Organised by the Volleyball Association of Maldives, the competition showcased the country’s top beach volleyball talent.

In a closely contested final, Zeeniya and Areesha defeated Hawwa and Majidha 2-1 to secure the title. The pair demonstrated outstanding consistency throughout the league, finishing at the top of the standings with a perfect record of three wins and a total of nine points.

Hawwa and Majidha, who finished second in the league with six points, put up a strong fight in the final but ultimately had to settle for the runner-up position. The third pair of Anaal and Alya claimed third place, showing great promise as they rounded off the podium.

The tournament underlined the growing popularity and competitive spirit of beach volleyball in the Maldives, with players and fans celebrating the high level of athletic performance displayed throughout the event.
