Police are searching for a teenage girl who was reported missing from Lhaviyani Naifaru last weekend.

According to Maldives Police Service, Khadheejath Maisara Aboobakr Faisal, aged 15, a resident of Seeniyage, Naifaru, was last seen leaving her residence at approximately 10:25 pm on August 2, 2025. She was wearing a short-sleeved turquoise T-shirt and green track bottoms with side pockets at the time.

Police noted that this is not the first instance in which Maisara has gone missing. She was previously reported missing in October 2023, when she was 13 years old.

Authorities have appealed to the public for assistance. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Naifaru Police Station on 9792187 or the police hotline at 3322111.
