Part of Boduthakurufaanu Magu and the adjoining lagoon area near the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has been closed to traffic from 18 August to 13 October to facilitate road development works. As part of the changes, one-way traffic from Dhathuruveringe Market has been redirected towards Chaandhanee Magu, and the section near the Presidential Jetty has also been converted to one-way. The project is aimed at improving road infrastructure in the area.
