Dialysis services have commenced at Alifu Alifu Atoll Hospital. The service was inaugurated by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu during the his visit to Rasdhoo, as part of his ongoing tour of Alifu Alifu Atoll.

The new facility will provide significant relief to residents of Rasdhoo and nearby islands who require regular dialysis treatment.

Establishing dialysis centres in every atoll across Maldives is a pledge by President Dr Muizzu. Officials said this initiative is expected to ease the difficulties faced by patients who currently travel long distances to obtain such medical services.
