The Airport Emergency Services team has successfully concluded the Basic Airport Firefighter Course batch-31, which comprised 23 participants.

Among the trainees were three firefighters from Fuvahmulah Airport and six from Muli Airport, contributing to the expansion of skilled personnel across regional facilities, according to Maldives Airports Company Ltd.

The Passing Out Parade and closing ceremony took place at VIA Fire Station 1 last night. At the event, the Deputy Managing Director, Mujthaba Latheef, presented trophies to the top achievers, acknowledging their dedication and performance throughout the course.

The completion of the course enhances the operational capability of airport emergency personnel, ensuring that participants are equipped with the essential firefighting knowledge and practical skills required to maintain airport safety.
