The second batch of the Skills Enhancement Programme for social workers, organised by the Ministry of Social and Family Development successfully concluded on Thursday.

Following the first batch held from 12 to 16 November 2024, the second round of training sessions took place from 23 to 28 November. This programme brought together caseworkers from sixteen different atolls working in Family and Children Service Centres (FCSCs). In total, 50 caseworkers from FCSCs participated and successfully completed the training.

The primary goal of the training was to equip caseworkers with the essential technical knowledge and skills needed to enhance their effectiveness in providing services, ensuring a positive impact on the communities served by the Ministry.
