Bank of Maldives ATM services have commenced in Haa Dhaalu Nellaidhoo, introducing modern self-service banking to the island.

The ATM in Nellaidhoo was inaugurated by President Dr Muizzu, who presented a commemorative card to the Nellaidhoo Council to formally launch the service.

The self-service facility will provide round-the-clock cash withdrawals and deposits for individuals and businesses, as well as bill payment and transfer services.

The Government and Bank of Maldives have stated that the initiative aims to make banking services more accessible to all islands across the country. President Dr Muizzu has pledged that ATM services would be introduced to all inhabited islands in the Maldives, with plans underway to install new ATMs in 100 islands within the year.
