Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced ATM services in Haa Dhaalu Vaikaradhoo, bringing modern self-service banking facilities to the island.

The new ATM was officially inaugurated by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, who made the ceremonial first transaction.

The self-service machine will provide round-the-clock banking services, including cash withdrawals and deposits for individuals and businesses, as well as bill payments, transfers, and facilities for credit card and loan repayments.

The installation forms part of a joint initiative between BML and the government to deliver ATM services across all inhabited islands, fulfilling a key presidential pledge.
