Dhiraagu supports new Knowledge Centre in Kulhudhuffushi

Dhiraagu has extended its support to the newly established Knowledge Centre in Kulhudhuffushi. Opened by the Kulhudhuffushi City Council, the centre aims to serve as a vibrant hub for learning, wellness, and community engagement.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Dhiraagu provided the centre’s public library with computer systems, video conferencing equipment, and a collection of books. The resources are intended to improve access to technology, inspire a love of learning, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and digital literacy within the community.

Bishaara Hameed, Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Dhiraagu, expressed the company’s dedication to community empowerment, stating:

“We are happy to support the Knowledge Centre, which will be a vital hub for learning and community engagement in Kulhudhuffushi City. By providing digital tools and educational resources, we hope to empower the community further and foster sustainable growth.”

In addition to the technological and literary contributions, the Dhiraagu team volunteered and enhanced the centre’s environment by donating 100 plants. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to creating a greener, more welcoming space for visitors.

The Knowledge Centre includes a public library and a wellness facility, designed to support both intellectual and physical wellbeing. It represents a the effort from the Kulhudhuffushi City Council to provide inclusive spaces for learning and personal growth.

Dhiraagu reaffirmed its dedication to initiatives that uplift local communities across the Maldives, emphasising its ongoing mission strengthen connections throughout the nation.
