Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel has extended his greetings to the Government and people of Barbados on the occasion of its Independence Day.

In a message addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados, Kerrie Symmonds, M.P., Dr Khaleel conveyed his best wishes on behalf of the Maldivian Government and its citizens.

Minister Dr Khaleel also expressed his hope that the friendship and cooperation between the Maldives and Barbados, as fellow Small Island Developing States, will continue to strengthen and flourish.

In addition, Dr Khaleel’s message included well-wishes for Prime Minister’s good health and the continued prosperity of the people of Barbados.
