The annual Rashi Baazaaro night market has opened in Fuvahmulah City for the third consecutive year. 

The event, held at the Fuvahmulah Youth Centre, will run from 5–12 September.

This year’s bazaar features 70 stalls, including 32 food outlets and 38 business stalls. Organisers say the market provides a platform for local businesses, cafés, and home-based workers to showcase their products and services, while also supporting the island’s economy.

Unlike previous years, the 2025 edition includes a carnival organised jointly by Adventure Up and the Fuvahmulah City Council, with games and entertainment scheduled throughout the week.

Daily lucky draws will be held for visitors, with major prizes announced on the final night. These include an Air Blade 125 Black Edition motorbike, an Umrah trip, a year-long Digicel unlimited fibre internet package, and household items.

According to the organisers, the bazaar is expected to draw large crowds and also promote Fuvahmulah as a tourism destination.
